Leah Crowley is opening her “One Woman Salon” in the next couple weeks. She will be offering a variety of services including hair cuts, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and chair massages. She has designed and helped create the beautiful new space she will be working in.
Leah, her husband Ryan, and their three young children moved to Vermont seven years ago after living in Austin, TX. Leah is originally from Connecticut where she started her career as an embalmer (ask her about it when you get your hair cut).
Leah started coming to Bethel to look around the treasures at Lukana’s Dream. She then became hooked on the Sandwich Shop and Cockadoodle Pizza as so many of us are. She soon fell in love with Bethel. One day while walking the streets she ran into Kevin Barry, the new owner of the Blossom Block, as he was doing some preliminary work on the building. Kevin offered to show Leah around and the building and the desire to own her own shop was rekindled. After a few months she contacted Kevin and they started work on the space. After six months of hard work, the shop is ready to see its first customers. Stop on by and check it out, say hi, get a gift certificate, or better yet, sit down in her chair and let Leah work her magic. Please join us in welcoming Leah to the Blossom Block and to Bethel.
